Missouri first timer

Taking Delivery on Raptor 415TS in a few weeks, will be pulling it with our 1 month-old 2014 ford F-450.

Never had a 5th wheel before.

Just jumped in with all 4 hooves.

Kinda hoping it all works out....

Congrats and welcome to the forum. Looks like you're doing it right with the F-450 nice tow vehicle.

Thanks, Javi. I've seen some of your posts and know you to be a responsible camper with regards to weights and capacities. Your opinion that we did it right with the 450 means a lot.

We struggled with the size of camper we wanted, because of our 3 big doofus doggies, weighing in at 250 Lbs for the whole herd, because we had a 2011 f350 SW.

So we made the determination to trade it on a bigger, heavier 450 in the effort to be safer, what with the bigger brakes and all.

And that opened a whole new class of toy hauler for us. took the wife to see a 415TS last night, and VIOLA!

We bought it.

Thanks for the input.

well, Im hoping so, chuckster. I sometimes haul a 20 ft band trailer, but that is really nothing for the f450. I don't feel any difference with it at all.
