Alpine 3010RE Linen information
Bought our first 2016 Alpine 3010RE which is still at dealership getting outfitted. Being our first 5th Wheel, now spending a lot of money on outfitting.
I'm not finding many choices for 70 x 80 bed linens. Any suggestions?
Also, what size bed linens do we need to buy for the Tri-fold sofa?
Thanks, Ken

I think a standard queen size sheet works on the "camper king" bed in the back, just my wife and I and we have never even opened the sofa bed. We really like our Alpine; have fun, stay safe.

If my memory serves correctly isn't a standard queen 60x80?

DW is looking as well. She mentioned that she found several providers via Google. 70x80 is a nonstandard size for sure. She has pulled the trigger yet. She mentioned that the cost >$200 for quality linens. [emoji51]

I did a "google search" for "70x80 inch sheet sets" and there were a number of sites with sheets for sale ranging from $29 to well over $200. Like anything found on google, buyer beware and make sure where you're shopping.

Yah, did the Google search which is why I was hoping for some suggestions from Alpine owners who already purchased their beddings.

Just as an aside....the 70X80 "RV King" in your master bedroom is neither a King or a Queen. We fought both sheet sizes in the past try to make them work. We finally purchased a real Queen mattress. I made the proper cuts to the platform. No more fighting sheets that are too big or too small. :
PS The "RV Sheets" at Camping World, are NOT RV (size) Sheets.

This is "sorta related" to the OP's question, but "not really"... Anyway, something to consider if you do a lot of dry camping is the thread count for your sheets. We've all, more or less, come to accept that "high thread count sheets" are better and "low thread count sheets" are cheaper and not as good.
Truth is, high thread count sheets are a tighter weave which means they don't "breathe" as well as low thread count sheets (which have "bigger holes" between the threads)....
What that means to the average camper is this: If you're in a campground with the A/C running, your sheets don't really matter, but if you're dry camping, the "tighter weave" sheets won't breathe as readily and on a humid night, they will tend to feel damper or "clammy" while the "cheaper sheets" with a lower thread count will allow your body moisture to disperse faster and they will feel "generally cooler" through the night. The "cheap sheets" will, for the most part, seem more comfortable and allow the bed to "dry faster" in the morning.
Just something "Grandma told me, years ago"..... Your views may differ.....

^^^John is spot on.
We like high count, 100% cotton nice sheets in our main house. Not so much at our other houses or the RV because of what John says.
In the RV, in humid areas particularly, in cool weather we don't run the AC unless it gets too warm. At those times the humidity is definitely something we feel (the AC does a great job of dehumidifying when in use). Not only do we feel clammy, but with tight woven sheets you feel like you're inside a sandwich bag or something so we use more breathable sheets.

We have that same Alpine, but 2014 model and absolutely love it.
King sheets are too big, Queen sheets are too small.
I finally found my Queen sheets (Simmons with elastic on the ends for larger mattresses) fit ok (sometimes a bit too tight).
Once we put a foam topper on top it seemed to make a difference for the King sheets (they fit a little more snug).
The fancy bedspread is put away and we have a down comforter & duvet cover on top too. Much easier to take care of.

We ended up buying a 650 thread count California king set on sale at Bed Bath & Beyond for $70. DW is happy. They don't fit snug, but once the bedspread is on, you don't notice anything. Paying $200+ for a set of custom fitted sheets didn't make sense to us.
