50 am to 30 amp converter

I just made a reservation at a campground and I was told that they only spot left was a 50 amp only and I have a 30 amp camper.

I was looking at 50 to 30 amp converters and from what I saw online was basically a pigtail going from a four prong plug to a three prong plug. Is this all I need, or do I need a step down converter to go from 50 to 30?

Thanks

Daryl

That’s all you will need. We use the 50 amp to 30 amp “dog bone” all the time with no issues.

When you get the 30A/50A adapter be sure you get the "dogbone" type with a cord between the 2 plugs and not the black 30/50 "biscuit" looking adapter. They can, and have, caused problems.

Still get the adapter but my experience has been that most 50 amp sites have a 30 amp connection as well.
