Lippert Correct Track

Had uneven tire wear on my 2014 3610rl, in looking for the cause, found a big surprise. All 4 of the Correct Track spring hangers are wallowed out at the top of the bolt slot. If that’s not bad also found the hanger on the side that was always wearing the spring hanger wasn’t welded square to the frame. The end result will be I’m having all 4 of the Correct Track hangersClick image for larger version

ID:	17763 cut off and replaced by a standard hanger. The system has no end user use, if you turn a cam it still needs to be aligned by a professional.

Actually, they do work and someone with a few tools, a little mechanical ability and a helper can align their own axles using the Correct Track.. Instructions and pretty simple..

Sorry you're having trouble.. But the Correct Track didn't cause the wear in your photo.. Most likely a worn bushing... Same thing happens to the shackles when the bushing wears out...

Didn’t have worn brass bushings, had to work on getting them out. All 4 of the spring hangers are wallowed.

There's a video floating around where a guy has a camera mounted under his trailer showing the Correct Track in motion. The amount of sway side to side from the flex of the spring hangers was a little alarming. Unless you have the frame to frame cross bracing then there's a good deal of sideways flex.

Sound like the bolt heads were not seated properly into the hangers. If they are not pressed into the hangers they will not be tight. Were these original or had they been replaced at some time?

Lippert Correct Track

Orginal brass bushing from a Moryde LRE system. Rv has little over 6k on it. On the Correct Track the splines on the wet bolts seat in the cam.

Just out of curiosity, did you contact Lippert? I have found them supportive and a great source of information about issues with their products.

I have contacted Lippert customer service, t they were no help. It fact they implied that I should have found it in the warranty period while servicing the suspension. I don’t of anyone or shop the services the spring hangers. The wet bolts were greased semi annually and the bearings repacked yearly. The first year it spent over six months at the dealer fixing multiple issues. Didn’t get a lot of miles put on it then.

My CRE3000 has brass bushings but the Correct Track has the Lippert bushings and neither are wet bolted... That's something I'm going to fix if I keep this trailer..

Wonder what's different
