New from Texas

I'm Bill from the Texas mid-coast. I'm a new rv owner, although I am not new to rv's, camping, towing, etc. I just purchased a 2016 Springdale Summerland 1800BH. It is a used rv, although there are no signs it has ever been used.

Unfortunately, new/barely used is not a guarantee against problems.
I get it home, set it up, and get ready to test it out overnight at home. Unfortunately, despite leveling acrobatics and much troubleshooting, the wall-mounted a/c is leaking down the inside of the cabin and down into the front storage and will not stop. Back to the dealer next week. Starting off with problems and challenges is my lot in life more often than not, but I'm confident they will resolve the issue, and that we will be testing her out soon.

Welcome to the forum. At least you were trying it out at home, not miles and miles away. Hopefully it'll be a quick fix and then "let the good times roll"!

Welcome from the Austin area. Hope you get the a/c issue resolved easily. A/C is very important in Texas! We are spending the week in South Padre and I'm not sure if this thing has shut off yet...

Hello. If it's stationary or mobile, home will also have issues. Don't sweat it. Odds are it's just a minor issue like a plugged drain from sitting. It'll pass.

Another Springdale Owner

Welcome from the Dallas area, I don't see many Springdale owners on here. Congrats on the camper!

Finally got our TT back yesterday. No leaky A/C. I'll test the roof for leaks this evening, but it looks good to go. Driveway camped and tested everything last night, and no apparent problems. Time to get traveling!
