After dreaming of a lithium battery and Christmas shopping I have decided with the Sams Club Duracell Golf Car Battery - Group Size GC2. Would two of them be good?

CBRV....so what did you decide?

Costco and Sam's Club have good batteries for general RVing.

You must have seen me in your dream. Still way too expensive for me.

I have 2 x 6V from Costco GC2 for 214AH (2 x 107) and it works fine.

I have a small 2100W generator, a 1000W inverter (for TV and my CPAP) and a 100W solar panel. Works real well for us.

But admittedly we do not dry camp that much. I probably would for 4 of them if we decided to dry camp more often.

Oohh ... connecting batteries in series doesn't add up the AHs. If you have 2 6V batteries at 107AH/ea and connect them in series, you get 12V and 107AH.

That being said, my Interstate GC2 batteries from Costco are 6V and 210AH (20-hour rate) - so I get 12V at 210AH. Since you can (should) only draw them down to 50%, that's 105AH usable.
