I purchased one of these years ago for use with a regular hose on the outside faucet. Do not remember where I purchased it.

I recently tried to get a quick connect hose as shown however it did not fit. Trekwood wanted like $35 for the hose. You can easily unscrew that disconnect which leaves a 1/2 pipe thread. I then screwed on a brass fitting (1/2" female pipe thread X Male garden hose fitting. Found in plumbing dept. at Lowes, not in garden} Then you can go to any kind hose quick connect or otherwise. I just bought good nozzle and used a 15 ft. rv hose with regular fittings.

Here is an added benefit to having a hose bib connection on the outside shower. Coiling the hoses for storage can be a bugger! You don't actually coil it, you wrestle it into submission and it still don't coil right. Hook it to the outside shower and run hot water through it, then easily coil it up and smile while doing it and amaze the neighbors and look real smart. They will come running to learn your trick!
