2007 2008 axles

So i did some research and it would appear that the 5200# axle has the same inner bearing part# as the 6000#.The inner bearing is the one that takes all the weight,and that means that the only diff. in the 800# axle diff. is the 2 extra wheel studs on the 8 lug. So really if you are looking to upgrade from the factory "D" tires, just new 16" wheels will suffice. If you don't think so, you can get the 8 lug 6000# hub and brake drum assembly from etrailer that should bolt right on and make it a 6000# axle.
