Dog guard

Hubby did this today with plastic lattice cut to spring fit into the grooves it will help keep the screens and provide privacy Click image for larger version

That's a great idea. I have put plexiglass in this and several RV doors before it so, the dog cannot ruin or push through it. The only problem with plexiglass is it blocks all air flow in that panel your fix still allows that.

Just an FYI You have to file the edges a little thinner to fit in the groove

How did you mount the plexiglas? Looking to do this for our new baby.

I used lattice just measure it a bit bigger than the opening then file the edges to fit in the groove and flex it putting the edges in the groove and release it tweak it till it fits
