Water Softeners

We're spending time in Yuma this winter and have already noticed the hard water, we're looking into purchasing a water softener and looking for recommendations as to brands etc

Several People in the park use this model, we are putting one in the budget. They put a pre filter before the softener. If you look around you can find ready to install systems with all the hoses and a pre filter.
You use a couple of pounds of table salt to regenerate the unit.
