Atwood Helium refridgerator that works when it wants to

Has anyone else had a problem with a Atwood Helium refrigerator working when it wants to? It will not keep the refrigerator cold. The freezer works good. I have no warning lights on the fridge. The fridge seems to work when it is at a campground but not at home. I have a 30a breaker feeding the camper at my house. I have 120v in the camper. It drops to 116 when the a/c kicks on. The camper sits level in the driveway. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the refrigerator outside wall face the afternoon sun where you park it at home?

Yes it faces afternoon sun. At the campground it also faced afternoon sun and the a/c was not on since we were not there during the week.

You stated that you have a 30 amp breaker at home. Are you plugging your 30 amp plug from the trail into the outlet or are you running an extension cord? If running an extension cord, you may need to go to a thicker gauge cord. At a least 12 gauge cord.

Interesting, we have not had issues with ours. It was turned on in May and will be turned off in Oct. it is plugged into a normal outdoor outlet, no 30a. When I unplug it, it switches to gas when traveling and back to electric when camping. If something does not switch over correctly the power button starts to flash. We generally keep it a 4 for the setting. Good luck figuring it out.
