Finally used it last weekend, went to go turn on the furnace since it got down to 43 degrees and not a dang thing happened. She will get used again this weekend too! Funny that 2 weekends later and it's going to be almost 90 out. Welcome to Michigan.

You have done a great job! I hope/suspect that the furnace issue will be simple and you can get on with having fun.

Looks great

Using it as a seasonal also works well. We just can't face crowded CGs and bumper to bumper traffic in touristy areas. We try to start the year with a trip and do pull out in late August for several weeks then back to the home CG until closing then try another trip.

So after the first time we use this camper we just left it at the campground for two weeks in storage seems how were coming right back, for 15 bucks it wasn't worth hauling home. The valet service moved it back to our campsite the following time we came back. Upon Him pulling in with the tractor I noticed this dent on the front. I asked the guy driving the tractor at what point in the tractor made contact with the front of my fifth wheel, he stated that as he was going down a hill and coming back up that the front of the fifth wheel kissed his roll bar on the tractor. He felt bad about it, at first I was angry then I started laughing. He went and told the owner of what took place who then he came and talked to me about the incident. He said we can make an insurance claim if we would like, but I just started laughing stating that my camper is not going to back out of service for the rest of the year so I will live with it and then he gave me a free weekend. A couple hours later I talk him about of seasonal spot to which he replied that I would have to get the front of my camper fixed first. I laughed at him and I told that I would no longer be considering getting a seasonal with him. That's the same weekend I noticed that my camper decided to lose a tire in the process of getting moved back and forth. It split a cord so I had to put my new tire on it.

Then this summer my daughter had her birthday party and her and her friends were going to sleep on the camper so I went through and hooked up water for them so they could use the restroom. little did I know I forgot to shut the bathroom shower off and it was on Trickle. Several hours later I walked into the camper only to find that I had a river running from the front bathroom all the way down to the back of the camper on the floor. My grey tank was full and filled the tub. So then I went through and dried up all the carpet and drain my grey tank. Fast forward two days and I still had a really musty smell inside the camper. I crawl up underneath it only to discover that I had a belly full of water. So I had to cut out all of the insulation up to underneath my front steps. Then I proceeded to let everything dry out for a few days and then use a combination of zip ties and Gorilla Tape reseal up my entire underbody.

Then comes last weekend after attempting to haul it to a campground 75 miles away I subsequently separated of cord in my truck tire, then blowing it while trying to get to the tire place plus having to drop my fifth wheel on the side of the road put on my spare and go get two new tires put on the back of the truck. After that continuing on our way the truck decides that it wants to push out the pump seal gasket on the transmission for some unknown reason and puke fluid out everywhere. And to make this worse after all this is said and done I get everything squared away and get a new ride home with the camper my friend I bust my favorite fishing pole all in the same day. #bad jujuClick image for larger version

Can you post the tag numbers for your truck and fiver? If I see it coming I'm going to run in the opposite direction. L.O.L. Sorry to hear about your run of bad luck, especially after putting in so much work with the amazing results. Hang in there, it's only camper and sounds like no one was hurt!
