Believe it or not, I talked with a guy at an RV show that worked for a strap co.
He didn't own a straptek set but was familiar with them. He stated that a polyester strap with a W.L.L. of 3300 lbs. and a break strength of 10,000 lbs. has a built in safety margin and would take 20,000 lbs. to actually snap it! COOL!

Quick questions, does anyone know how many dots on the straptek is the standard 9 links on the blueox swap pro?

just wanted to chime in as another happy straptek owner

have a blue ox and the straptek seems to have really tightened up the whole rig, sure i have it tighter than the chains were, but it made a big difference and i like undoing the straps much better than the blue ox bracket
