PITA entry step replacement

I flipped the axle springs for 4" of additional ground clearance, so now I want to replace the double folding entry steps with a triple unit. Problem is, the 25.5" wide mounting bracket on the current double folding unit doesn't match any triple step units...and moving the mounting brackets for more width will be a total PITA. Am I missing something obvious?

PS - I don't like the single fold down steps that store inside the camper on the door jamp...as I'm worried about that shaking around on the washboard forest roads I travel down.

our Solid Steps latch to the door frame when stored and don't shake around, so you might want to take a 2nd look at this alternative.

Just get one of these, which are adjustable, and you won't have to replace your existing steps. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RV-Aluminum...-/292974519701

Scott, PPL in Houston has most everything at good prices. That is where we bought our four-step for the Raptor. Try this site:
https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/...le-step_358992
This is the triple version of the four step we bought and it is 25.5 inches side to side.
