Come on Spring weather.
Well I'm lucky enough to work from home 4 of the 5 days in my work week. My home office has a nice big window the sun shines in the mornings. Today I can really feel the sun on me and it's making me long for the snow to be gone. Just need that 5 feet of snow and the ice rink at the end of my drive to melt. Our new rig should be in first part of April hope this white stuff is gone and the temps are in the plus zone.

I feel bad for you. As I lay here in bed in my 5er reading through the forum. We don't have those worries here in Texas. Spring will be here in no time. Hopefully you can get out in the great outdoors and kick your feet up by the fire soon.

Spring is coming - sometime I hope. Horses are all losing their winter coats, but it snowed another 6-7” yesterday into last night. It did get up to 24F today though.

Reading this thread, I was motivated to walk outside and take a couple photos of our house. What you see is this morning. When poking a broom handle into the snow, there's about 30" of snow on the ground where it's not drifted or piled from plowing. Our pole barn door is "sealed shut" with about a foot of ice along the bottom. I've been working to get it melted so we can get the trailer out and get ready to head south, but every time I get a little headway, we get another 6-8 inches of new snow.....
At least today is sunny and already up to 29F.
HURRY UP SPRING !!!!!

Last two days have been a major snow event here in western Colorado.
I am very tired of this. Like John, our barn is snowed shut, this AM I broke the plow the snow is so wet and heavy, all schools in the county are closed, for the first time in my memory here, going back to 1982 when we moved here. I mean we are USED to snow and snow events up here at altitude, this is soooo not right. My snow blower threatened to quit. I showed it the hammer and it started working again.
Thank goodness German Shepherds LIKE snow and cold, they are having a fine ol time and laughing constantly. I am ready for SPRING.
I just want to go use our new TT.

Well John as I type this its a balmy 39 in Anchorage but winds are forecast to pick up to 70MPH in the next 48 hours No worries the grill and picnic table on the back porch are still tied down, the trailer wheels are frozen in about 4 inches of ice Cant really get a snow depth but its less than a foot where its not piled up. We only got 55" of snow this winter our normal average is 64 inches.

Oak, I understand. Here we are in FL, 80 degrees today, at the lake with puppy, watching the egrets, ospreys, pelicans and so many other things. It's SO hard.....
On the other hand, there is a reason we are here. At our main house in W TX the winds are 45mph gusting to 77.8. Of course the dirt will be blinding. At our mountain home in SE NM the winds are doing the same, trees are down, power lines are down, roads blocked.
Thankfully we are able to be here and watch all that "over there". I spent my whole life living "through" it; now I don't.

I ordered the Ariens for myself and bought the Troy Built to loan to the neighbors. Felt bad this winter that so many neighbors struggled to get out of their driveways. I only have so much energy. Was beat tired after 4 driveways and work parking lot.
I used the Ariens 1 time play eating drifts that were still in the street. It’s a beast.
