We have a 2006 Montana with MorrRyde and Dexter suspension.
I have discovered a broken rear spring hanger on the driver's side. The axle has shifted to the left thus bending the rear hanger on the passenger side.
A new hanger is needed but I'm hesitant to have a new one welded onto the frame because of the proximity to flammable construction materials. I am thinking of lengthening the base of the new hanger to enable it to be bolted to the frame instead. As long as the welds are holding on the passenger side I think that hanger can be bent back into shape. Opinions, please.
