Virgin Camper from Michigan

Hello all. Brand new to the camping world. Just bought a 2015 Cougar 29RBK for my family (wife, 2 boys and pooch). We have been camping with friends before, but this our family's first camper.

Good for newbies like me to have a forum like this to learn more about camping experiences.

Welcome to the forum and to "Cougar Country". We were at Groveland Oaks this past weekend (escaped Monday morning just before the bad weather). If you haven't been out there recently, you owe it to yourself to check the new campsites in the "full hookups" area. They have done a great job on making spacious sites with all the extras.

Enjoy your new Cougar !!!!!

Thanks for the information. We stayed at Groveland with friends one weekend last year when my son was in a mountain bike race there. Very nice park for sure. We will try and hit that one this year.

Welcome to the forum from another Michigan Camper. Find a nice close campground for your shakedown trip. Relax and enjoy.

JRTJH we were in Holly Recreation that weekend and Monday when the storm hit. That was one hell of a storm. Love Holly Recreation. We usually stay in the State Campgrounds.

The Pines in Frankenmuth. Full hook up and you feel up north. Plus if it rains there is always the waterpark
