Hello from Oregon

Just wanted to say hi. I currently have a 2002 Fleetwood Prowler, but am wanting to upgrade to a new BH. Right now I am looking at the Cougar 28rbswe. Whatever decision I make, I hope it's the right one! Lol

I got a dealer down to $26,500 for the 28rbswe. MSRP is $38,000. Does that sound like a good price, or should I try for a little more. I t tough to get to this point and they said they would only honor this price for a couple days.

You're looking at an almost 31% discount. Some would say that is a good price. My last trailer was purchased at a 36% discount but they had had it for a few months and it was a somewhat expensive unit. Make sure they show you the bonafide pricing/build sheet. I've had them show me "home grown" in house sheets that elevate the price by several thousand dollars. The bottom line is if you are happy with the deal you negotiate. If you are, do it and forget it. Doesn't sound bad to me.

Well.....I bought a trailer today, but it's not a Keystone. I was set on buying one until a dealer I visited a month ago called me and made me an offer I couldn't refuse! It is a Forest River Wildcat Maxx 26BHS. MSRP was $38,200. They said they would sell it to me for $25,000. When I went in there it told them 20k or I was walking. I got to my car when they finally agreed to 20k. I am now a happy camper!
