Talking New Bullet owner from Pensacola, Florida

Hello, all...

I've been lurking around these forums for weeks now, and wanted to say hello. As of 2 weeks ago, the wife and I are proud owners of a (slightly used) 2015 Keystone Bullet 310BHS Ultra-Light travel trailer. After months of contemplating whether or not to trade in our boat, we finally pulled the trigger.

Up until 2015, we had a 2004 Keystone Outback 21RS with the manual slide-out bed. It was nice for our first camper, but after living in it for 5 months (with 2 big dogs) after a flood, we got sick of "camping" in the front yard and sold it. Now, we have something so plush that we wouldn't mind living in it after a natural disaster--IF we had to! With 2 slide-outs, it has plenty of room for the dogs and 2 small grandchildren, too! We broke it in on Memorial Day weekend for 2 nights. It ROCKS!!!! We LOVE the bumper-mounted gas grill with the quick-disconnect gas line. It cooks very well; just needs a beer-holder LOL.

I guess this one was owned for about 9 months and traded-in on a Toy Hauler. We bought it through Camping World; and YES, be bought the full 5-year extended warranty package. They are over $35k new, and we got it for $22k + TTT + 5 year warranty.

Mods so far include:
- custom-built dog ramp (modified 1/2 of a harbor freight MC ramp and added a carpet runner)

- ALL warm white LED lighting inside and out through Amazon

- 8" thick memory foam mattress in the Master BR.

-16' LED awning light strip installed

-more non-skid tape added to the steps.

Since the windows are already tinted, I plan on "tinting" them further with very light or clear heat-rejection window film--like the Outback. It made a HUGE difference with the A/C in this southern heat!

Anyway, here's a few pics. I look forward to sharing info with y'all on the forum!
