Darn Excited

Picking up a new 2015 Cougar 29RBK next week. Got my mirrors ordered as well as my air lift 1000s. The PDI sheets are all printed and cant wait for the tour.
Now if all this snow will just melt then I am set.

I know the feeling. My wife and I waited a month to take delivery of our Laredo 314RE. Congrats.

Congrats on the new trailer. If you are installing the air bags yourself be sure and warm them up before trying to put them inside the springs. It is a bit of a chore but they will go in. Once inside the spring let them reinflate themselves and they are easier to maneuver. I put a tiny bit of vaseline on the ends where the air hose slips over to make them easier before I slipped the clips over them. I also routed the air hose so that it T'd and only one hose came out for the compressor. I drilled a hole to the right of my tag on the rear bumper (thru the plastic) and put the fitting there. Worked like a charm....good luck.

One other thing; you need to raise the truck by the frame until the springs are fully extended and the tire is off the ground. It takes a pretty tall jack. Also use plenty of jack stands and chocks. I pulled the wheels off for better access.

Congratulations on your rig purchase ENJOY

Glad to see you have your PDI list ready for your walk through. Ask questions, take a lot of notes and/or pictures, and do not be rushed.

Yes, if this white crap every melts, we can all get on the road.

Good Luck

The day of pick up is probably getting close. You didn't mention a WDH w/sway but you will need one.

Your truck will pull the trailer OK. Your payload will be tight but doable - just don't throw in everything plus the kitchen sink

Ya, I pick it up Friday. Cant wait, got my princess auto, Canadien tire and dealer shopping list. Told the wife id take her out Saturday for some Saturday shopping. Didn't tell her what for, but that's just details.

I ordered a 1000Lb Equalizer hitch with the trailer. Still have to pick up the Brake controller and install it. Dealer calling me everyday on that one. That and getting my insurance all done. That should be done tommoro.

Question though, should I get Good Sam, ontop of my trailer insurance?
