Privacy Curtain For Open Bedroom Floorplan
I was wondering if anybody out there has added a privacy curtain to the open bedroom area? Or maybe you have a cougar model that came with one? Any pics? Would be interested on seeing how the curtain trac is mounted.

Our Passport came with one. It's a simple track on the ceiling that the curtain slides in. It should be easy to retrofit, but finding a curtain that matches your decor might be tough. This is (I hope) a link to the track for my travel trailer and has a slight curve to it. I say I hope because it's really cheap.

Almost all hospitals use a similar system, next time you're in an ER or even most doctor's office exam rooms, you'll see a "privacy curtain" mounted on the ceiling.

Thanks for the info. One of the problems I ran into is that ceiling on the Premier is curved so the curtain track would have to be flexible. Then the you would have to adjust the curtain so it would be even across the room. I decided to use a spring tension rod that will go from wall to wall. It's on order so I have not tried it yet. Will see how or if it works when it's delivered...

I would go to a dealership and scope out some models that use the privacy curtain, then go to Trekwood and buy one from the model that has what I was looking for.

It is strange that it did not come with one, always thought they all did. Good luck with the rod that you ordered.

I've installed miles of these tracks in Children's Hospital here in B.C.
They're very pliable and it doesn't take much to make a curve in them. The easiest way is to heat them with a good heat gun and just roll them over something curved like a barrel or something like that until you get the curve that you desire. Whatever you do don't use a blowtorch

I ordered a Bronze 66"x120"x 3/4" tension rod. The ends of the rod are 1 1/2" diameter.
A light weight 48"x63" curtain and it all works pretty good. Did not have to do any drilling which I like and it seems pretty sturdy.

I am thinking the Premier did not come with one because of the curved roof.

My Laredo 240MK has a privacy curtain from factory. I would post a picture of it closed but it's under 3 ft of snow right now. Here is a picture I found with the curtain open.
The track is screwed to the ceiling. It's just the standard plastic track.
It's a curved roof. The track bows away from the head of the bed to go around the foot of the bed.

Spring rod idea is really good. In another TT we owned, we did that, and it worked perfectly. Never thought of doing it with ours...I like it!

1l243, Howdy;
Have you looked into the literature and other promotional stuff to see
if a show a curtain? If so the Dealer needs to install the one the factory
forgot to. Maybe it was supposed to get installed after lunch and the
worker either got sick or left ...

I think the 19 didn't come with a curtain because there is less space between the dinette and the bed than the 22 or larger
I like your curtain rod idea, but so far we've never really needed anything like that less if we're in a close park and one want's to go out the door while the other is still half asleep in bed. We put an open book over the radio to kill the blue light at night

We've been in many, many 19s of various age. We've never seen one come with a curtain. We haven't had the need to use one but can see the advantage if someone is staying on the dinette bed. Last summer our granddaughter stayed with us for a few nights at a campground; and for her privacy, we blocked off the dinette area with a blanket. If we'd had a long spring rod, we could have provided privacy either way. It would be a good option.

That is the reason my wife wanted a curtain. If I am out the door in the morning and she is still in bed she wanted some privacy for getting out of bed and getting dressed.
The blue light driver her nuts as well......

The bed is even closer now I extended the plywood and mattress about 6". The curtain fits fine. It leans on the mattress a little but not bad...
