After taking a 3 1/2 hr trip no issues with the covers. I did end up putting a small bungee under neath but more than likely it is not needed.

I've had mine two years with no bungee securing it. Never had a problem. It would take a serious updraft to lift the cover off of the propane. Not really possible, unless you were going over a very high and long bridge with grates. (Bay Bridge over the Chesapeake in MD) Even then I doubt it would move.

On a side note, I recently drove home from a trip on back roads with the pepper shaker sitting on the back bumper. had a good chuckle when my wife showed it to me.

I forgot to tighten the two knobs on my propane cover and it blew off within the first mile of my house. When I got to the campground, i discovered it and backtracked the 10 miles after unhooking and found it.

Mine is a 238ML and the cover has 3 "hinges". It was in the road with lots of tire tracks on it. Cleaned it up and reinstalled it.

Hahahahaha that is funny but not funny, I'm glad you were able to find it even if it did have a bunch of tire tracks on it. I haven't had any issues with the little door cover at all.

I can't believe the pepper shaker didn't fall off....that is crazy
