Level Master

Anyone running these level masters? Any Problem with them freezing up in winter?

I have that on my pin box, but we don't get freezing weather out here.

The one that's currently on our Cougar was previously on our Springdale. It's 6 years old and has been exposed to Michigan's "sub-zero" temperatures every year. It still functions, isn't yellow (UV damage) and is reliable. That said, I built my own mount brackets, I didn't like the plastic ones that come with the level.

Just went thru a cold snap in Southern Oregon in Dec.......was 6 degrees and mine worked great!!

Most levels use some sort of alcohol or spirit in them. Hence the old term "Spirit Level". Although with how slow the ball in my Level master moves, I am betting it's some sort of glycol mixture. (Think antifreeze)
