Does one use the rv antifreeze for successive seasons
Just curious if we save it after winterizing to use next season?

No. Down the drain. It's safe for the drain. It's $7.00 a gallon and you need two maybe three. Start fresh. The economy needs your money.

I use new each year. I just bought some yesterday at Wally World - $2.58/gal. I don't even have a clue how I would catch it to save and use again.

Who knows how diluted it got this year? Why try to save a buck. Down the drain with the old!

In addition to the dilution possibilities, there's also the contamination factor. Don't forget, you treated your toilet too.
For 15 or 20 bucks, I wouldn't risk my plumbing, or my health.

If your antifreeze got toilet contamination wouldn't your water system also be contaminated?

I wouldn't reuse, but what if one was to save what would come out of the low point drains, there still could be some dilution depending on how well the line's were blown out, but otherwise it should be whatever was pumped in correct? If you were trying to save every penny one could throw that salvaged pink stuff down the drains and save $3.

I agree. I was just pointing out that if one were concerned about toilet contamination if saving the anti freeze that the same contamination should occur with the water system. I don't think contamination is a concern either way. Regardless, saving the antifreeze for recycling purposes is more trouble than its worth.
I only use antifreeze for the p-traps, anyway, so its history.

Re: Does one use the rv antifreeze for successive seasons
I use new every year, 3-4 gallons, not worth the chance for what it costs. Now with that said, I do catch what comes out of the low point drains, not much but it kills grass. I put it back in a bottle with a "x" on the lid. I end up pouring it down the traps and tanks only the following year.

I use it very liberally to ensure the concentration is correct. This is after blowing the lines clear with compressed air. I then dump a bunch down the drains so the p-traps and tanks get their fair share.
Any leftover goes into the tanks. I buy new every year. The stuff is cheap... so you don't have to be.
