Talking Hopefully a new Bullet Premier 22RBPS owner!

Hi to the Keystone Forum! I am going (again) to look at a Premier 22RBPS tomorrow. I really love all the features and it seems to be a well built unit. My fiancee and I have been looking at RVs and going to shows for over a year now, and I think we might have finally found our winner with the Premier!

We are both RV newbies so any suggessions or engouragement is welcome!

Welcome to the forum from the "other side" .

I'm not sure if the Premier comes with the infamous "Arctic/Polar/Glacier" Package, but if it does and the salesman tries to tell you that it will withstand sub-freezing temperatures for long periods of time, just say...."Sure".

These packages and the designation sticker on the side really mean that the RV is good for 3 seasons where you live.
Seeing that you are from Alberta, you know all about cold so I will say no more.

Thanks for the buying tips! I have spoke with so many salesman now that I am starting to recognize all of the one liners they commonly use such as, "the price on this unit is based on last years exchange rates, this years prices on the new units could be higher so you should really not take the chance", "plenty-o-storage", "thats a popular unit, should be gone within a week!" etc etc...

With the last salesman I spoke with I just played up the first time buyer act to see what sales pitches he'd thrown at me and he really went all out with the one liners and urgency pitches! Now I regret it because I have to deal with him to get the Premier off the lot.

And thanks for letting me know about the inspection checklist! I have it printed out now and I am going to call the dealer to set up a time tomorrow so they can have it hooked up to power and water hopefully.

oh and Premier comes with a "thermal package". Not sure what that means but I not much of a winter camper anyway. Too busy with skiing

"Thermal Package" means the same thing as all of the other packages. For the most part, it is "meaningless". I'd be interested in hearing what your salesman has to say about it. It is essentially an advertising gimmick with marginal benefits.

Good luck I think the premier trailers are nice as well. The biggest advantage of the thermal package is the covered underbelly. It cleans it up and streamlines a bit for towing.

From Wisconsin and enjoy your new trailer. We were all "newbys" at one time or another. As far as questions you may have, use the search feature on this site and you may find your answer already there. If not , then ask away and you will find this site is full of good folks willing to help out. Let us know how it goes and good luck.
