New owner of a Cougar 276RLS

We just bought our first Cougar. We've been camping for 30+ years.
My question is: How do I clean the top of a vent inside a max air vent cover?
We got caught in a rain/dust storm that blew a lot of dirt into the max air vent. I tired to remove the top cover, but found the max air vent is sealed to the rubber roof with caulking.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new Cougar! From the inside, you can access the screen and blade by removing the 8 Phillips screws around the outside of the screen insert. Not sure if you can get to clean the top of the vent this way but the screen may come out.
