Replacement Steps

Where can I get the original replacement steps for my 2005 Cougar. The tag on the steps says “Hickory Springs” - but the double 7” rise step they now offer is 27” wide versus the 25.5” width of my existing step. I’d rather simply replace the steps as opposed to repairing them. Apparently the original owner left the steps down and hit something, bending them slightly out of kilter. The “Hickory Springs” site seems to be moot on a replacement set, however they were closed for the day when I called so I was unable to talk to anybody.

Found mine on Amazon once i knew for sure what I wanted. The quoted sizes don't always match actual.

I would just get the steps that are shown at this link. Looks like it has the correct dimensions.

That’s the right dimensions. I wonder why
Hickory changed the dimensions for the matching all steel steps? Thanks for the “heads up.”

I just ordered the Hickory Springs OEM replacement steps from E-trailer. The steel double 7 steps have the correct 25.5” width to match my existing step hangars - as do the equivalent aluminum steps. The double 9 steps are 27.5” wide, as are all of the triple 7 or triple 9 steps. Go figure! There must be some kind of logic involved - but it escapes me.
