Slim shade prepped

This was our first trip in our new 5er this weekend and we noticed a sticker on the entry door window that stated Slim Shade Prepped. So I go online and see this great shade and window for the entry door. My question is the only product I could find included the shade and window. If our unit is "prepped" shouldn't we just need the blind?. Has anyone installed this option or seen these?

I would think you would have to buy the whole “kit”. YMMV

I put one in....the whole kit was 97 bucks and we love it.......dark tinted glass with a black shade. Took about 20 minutes to install.

Mine was prepped also, as confirmed with Lippert over the phone and pictures sent of the model number of the window. I chose to just buy the shade and leave the original glass in place. Love it!

I guess my 2017 Alpine was prepped..lol... I purchased and installed the slim shade. Much nicer to be able to see outside. I really don't bother closing the shade at night.
