Howdy from Texas

Total newbies here. Sold my house and ready to be on the road part time at first then build up to full-time. Starting by staying in a Sprinter 252 FWRLS until the 38' Everest is cleaned up and ready to stay in. Will be on the road with the 26' trailer so we can fit in the smaller campgrounds. Will be looking for short term work camping gigs along the way from April-September. Looking forward to trips especially in our favorite place, the Oregon Cascades. We know it's a steep learning curve. Learning all we can now. Later we will be taking a few of our horses along, so we'll figure that out in the next few years. Good to know there are lots of friendly follks willing to share their wisdom.

Lived in Tarkington Prairie, Tx for 9 yrs. Such beautiful trees and plants in East Texas! My dad loved to camp at Caddo Lake.
