I've got a few questions...
First of all, I've got a water pump on my 2020 Passport 2600BH that will wake the dead... it sounds like it's below the bed and is very very loud... I am planning to take it in for some other "warranty" work after our next camping trip...mid October..
Should I bother to tell them? as it appears that most of these OEM pumps are very loud...per most members... Or will they blow me off as "it's normal"?
Secondly, since the pump sounds like it's under the bed, is that something I can access from inside to try to insulate it? I'm not really sure where to look... but the fresh water fill is right on the side back from the pass thru storage area and below the bedroom windows... So I'm guessing that is where it's located... any help and or opinions are welcome... thanks Sarge

Yes, water pumps can be loud. They can get really loud if they get an air bubble in the line. There are several You Tube videos and other tutorials on how you can reduce the noise levels produced by your pump. Your dealer likely won't be interested in doing any of these under warranty so you're likely on your own. We've got ours pretty quiet by mounting the pump on a board then putting the board on some 2" egg crate foam. Then insulated the compartment with the same egg crate foam. Finally, we wrapped the lines from the pump as far into the trailer as we could with foam pipe insulation. Sounds more like a soft humm now.
Best fix was telling the DW the water pump didn't work after 10 p.m.

Sometimes it can be a warranty claim provided the dealer takes the time to take a bunch of pictures showing the pex line up against something. About all we do that we get paid for is use zip ties to re route the line or secure it against whatever it’s vibrating on.
As suggested above, your probably better off taking the time to do it “right”.

thanks for all the responses... I will mention it to the write-up person... if they don't do something then I'll fix it after the warranty expires..., I'm sure I can find it if I have someone run some water...lol has to be an access near the bed area...
Thanks again

Water pump is housed behind this removable panel.

I agree with Chuckster on checking the water lines coming off the pump. I had terrible noise each time the pump ran. I found the main water line was vibrating off the side panel. I secured and suspended the water lines with a rope so they wouldn't come in contact with anything solid. No more rattling noise after that. You should be able to access the water lines by tilting the foot of the bed up.
