Bunkbed mattress odd size

Hi all, I am new and my first post. I have been searching the forum for some help in replacing my bunk bed mattresses. I have a 2016 springdale bunk house and has two beds that are not rectangles. I cannot seem to find any sites that sell them. I am looking to replace as they are dirty from who knows what and I'm not sure cleaning may work. Thanks for any help!

Post the sizes LxWxH (thickness) and someone will post a source.

Another option is to look for a mattress manufacturer locally to make or remake the one you have. I'd think a city the size of Houston would have one.

I'm thinking of doing this for the bunks in my Hideout. How did you cut them?

I use an electric carving knife to cut foam. Hold the knife vertical and it will "slice through the foam like butter".. (Yeah, I know, but that's how easy it is)...

Don't use the same blades you plan to use for carving the Thanksgiving turkey. I've found that after cutting foam, the blades just don't do well with anything else. I suppose the foam takes the edge off the blades just enough that they aren't sharp enough to perform well cutting other things, but they stay sharp enough for the foam and continue to cut foam for years to come.

Mattress

I used a pair of seamstress scissors and marked a straight line with a marker. You could also use a utility knife and a straight edge.Wife also slipped the old teddy bear mattress into a mattress cover with the gel foam. The only problem is putting sheets on the gel foam is not very stiff. She just lets the kids make their own beds.

Read on another forum where 2 2x4's were placed above and below the mattress then clamped together and used to make a straight edge. Made cutting wit electric knife much easier.
