No nightstands No problem

Our current 5th wheel does not have any nightstands in the bedroom. I have looked all over trying to find something the right size to fit the space for one and finally came up with this easy solution.
I went to home depot and bought two pre finished 1/2"x12"x36" shelves. Then simply place each shelf under the mattress with 12" hanging out and now you have a 12"x12" platform to put whatever you need on. Then just push all the way under mattress when traveling.
Hope this helps any of you with the same problem of no nightstands.

I just sanded, stained, & finished a 3/8” board that’s 16” x 36”. We slide it under the mattress on the passenger side for my wife’s night stand. Sticks out about a foot or more. Slide it under the mattress when we travel. Simple, easy, & stable..
