Large Bolt in trailer tire

We took the Little Guy Laredo to Tucson for four nights. When we got back to Gold Canyon the left rear tire was going flat. It happen in the last couple miles of the 100 mile trip. This is a case of knowing exactly what caused the failure. The bolt showed little signs of have been run of the road very far. Attached is a picture of the bolt in the tire and the bolt that I kept as Discount tire was installing a new Endurance ST225/75R15E.

I will contact Goodyear to see what they have to say. I had not purchased Discount Tires warranty. Chris
