Wondering where to mount TPMS repeater

Was just curious where others have mounted a TPMS repeater on their trailers.

Maybe Velcro to the front or mount in the front storage bay.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Top of propane tank cover near the rear of the cover. 12Vdc harness has a connector near bottom of cover to allow easy removal of propane tank cover.

Had it inside the front pass through. Pulled power from the light.

I bought one of those hobby boxes and place mine inside it with a couple of 12 volt switches to control power to it and the LED light strip I installed.

I put mind up into the frame rail about 1 ft from the front of the trailer, thinking to keep it out of the rain and road spash.

I put mine on the trailer "A" part of the frame up front, about 2 or so feet back from the coupler. I bought a all plastic hobby box and waterproof switch that is lighted and put the booster in there. I picked up power from one of the resettable circuit breakers that is mounted close by. The booster is supposed to be waterproof or water resistant, but being in the waterproof hobby box assures that it will get no moisture/water. I brought the electrical lead out of the box with a waterproof electrical bushing (plastic also) and all the parts were bought on Amazon. The hardest part of the entire job is working with the tiny wire that comes with the booster..it's probably 26ga...maybe 28ga.....tiny stuff for sure.

I have the TST 507 on a 37-38' trailer and a Ram 2500 and use no repeater. It didn't come with one and when I put it in I thought I might have to have one but so far, so good. Looks like you have a smaller trailer so you probably don't need to worry about one.

Thanks for all the idea's. I don't know why I should need one either but first time out they all read good going to the campground about 30 miles away but coming home the left side tires and the spare dropped out for some reason.

I do have a wireless weather temperature station that was using in the campground but had taken the batteries out for the trip home.

Figured maybe some other interference I am overlooking so maybe worth a try.

Read the instructions, as I recall they recommend them and say why, Unless they changed you got it with the unit. Do you need to, that's all up to you.
My 1st trip, I loss 1 tire signal for a moment and I have the repeater. Unknown why, I did change out the cheapo batteries and replaced with bunny rabbit ones. No problems since but, I will not say that was the problem. Only it has not happened after and 3 trips since.

In my travels with the 507 I have had it beep at me 3-4 times because it loses a tire. Once it starts it will drive you crazy. I just turn the unit off, turn it back on and it finds the tires and runs OK for the rest of the day.

I didn't try that. May change the batteries also.
Have to go see what batteries they use. I believe I have the 507's. At least whatever the ones you have to remove to check tire pressure with gauge.
Between these and the ones on our Buick they did confirm that my hand digital pressure gauge reads 3 pounds higher that actual pressure.
Learn something new every day.

Hand held gauges will differ, usually, from a factory TPMS reading or a TST, or... Not a lot generally but some. I ordered several spare batteries from TST (along with caps etc.) and just carry them around in case of a failure.
