New member in AZ

Hello all! New member from Arizona. I'm a full time Firefighter/paramedic with a stay at home wife. My wife and I just traded in a Passport 171 for a Passport 234 and are excited to get our daughter out traveling in the next few months!

Welcome to the forum, very nice people here and lots of help if you ever need it. We live up in Deer Valley, really northern upper part of Glendale, AZ. Again, welcome and enjoy your new rig and remember, be safe out there!!

Welcome to the forum from SE Texas. I'm on the way to Casa Grande now. Unfortunately we're riding the rail instead of pulling the 5er.

I have NO experience with a "train". Never had one ounce of interest in one....sort of like taking a bus to me...but, DW has memories of being on a train from the east back to the west and having so much fun with her dad; "gondola cars". Is the Sunset sort of like that? I want to take her on something for remembrance at our age.

No, the sunset is the Amtrack train that runs East-West from New Orleans to LA and back. My family is riding with my in-laws. This is on my Mom's bucket list so here we are. We leave SA. in about 3 hours. I think tomorrow will be a good ride out to AZ. I've ridden greyhound and I'll tell you there is no comparison. I'll not ride the bus again, no fun! At least on the train you can get up and walk around. Today we all sat around a table and played games.
