Fresh tank water filling

How do you fill fresh water tank while dry camping? Have a 2018 avalanche with a 4 way water valve . Tried filling through the overflow vent, but that didn't work well. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum
Congrats on your new purchase. This is the new member check in forum, and we try to keep it to introductions.

No harm no foul this time. So let’s see if we can get your fresh tank filled. I have seen many people use an RV water pump mounted on a stand, with long leads and alligator clips to attach it to either the RV battery or the TV battery. That way you have a “pressurized” source to fill the tank.

Thanks Chuck. That's what a couple of neighboring campers suggested too. Appreciate the quick response .

Fresh tank water filling

Harbor freight has a dandy one with battery clips and threaded for garden hose. Make up a short section of Hose with male and female connections and one with one female connection for suction hose.
