Checking in from metro Atlanta. My Wife Carin and I had a popup before, which turned out to be a disaster when Fleetwood went under. The E3 was a great popup but had so many roof and leaking issues. We were glad to see it go and wrote off RVs for a few years from the bad taste it left.
We tent camp a lot and travel around the SE racing our mountain bikes and riding our tandem mountain bike. After repeated bad experiences with campground bathrooms, Santos, FL, in particular, we decided it was time for a small travel trailer with a bathroom to pull behind our 2016 Tacoma.
We looked at the Hummingbird/Drop/Rpod variants but wanted a bit more room. We looked at Micro Minnie's and while we liked the Winnebago workmanship, didn't care for the floor plans.
Enter the Passport 153ML. It's a 19'r with a dry weight of 3k and a loaded weight of 4500lbs - plenty of room for margin with my truck's 6500lb tow capacity. It's a new model for Keystone and I'm hopeful that the quality will be there for the long haul.
I've got my P3 ordered and we'll pick up the camper in a few days for a dry run. Look forward to reviewing further.
