2017 F150 5.0 Coyote V8 with 385 horsepower, 6 speed, 36 gallon tank. Just about 20,000 miles on it now. This is from 6 weeks ago, fun driving in it.

Been lurking here for a few weeks. Finally signed up today. This will be my family's second year camping. We started last year with a 2017 Nissan Frontier and 2018 Wildwood Xlite 201BHXL. The 201BHXL was a little too much for the truck - and the family was a little too much for the 201BHXL!
This year we're camping with a 2018 Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4X4 Big Horn with Hemi 5.7 and 3.92 gears. I added AirLift 1000 bags, a Hellwig sway bar & Trail Ridge towing mirrors. Also running D rated KO2's. Got a E2 WD hitch and truck came with integrated brake controller.
Picked up a 2019 Keystone Passport 2400BHWE Grand Touring a few weeks ago. Swapped out the OEM Trailer Kings for Carlisle Radial HD's. Added a valve stem cover style TPMS kit from Amazon (only $40 and works great!).
Setup the hitch for the new truck/trailer combo today. Did a 100 mile test pull that included a run up Parley's Canyon on I-80 towards Park City, Utah.
Dewinterized yesterday to start checking plumbing, etc. Spending a few nights in the trailer to make sure all is well.
Our first trip is 2,000 miles round trip to the Oregon Coast (Cannon Beach) next month while the kids are out of school for spring break.

This is my 4th (and most likely last) 5th wheel. 2018 Keystone Avalanche 320RS pulled with a 2018 Silverado 2500HD. I'm retired but my wife still works full time and still has a few more years before she is done. We mostly camp within a days drive so I'm okay pulling with a less capable truck for now. Once she retires I plan to upgrade to a 3500 diesel puller.

Nice looking rig. Love the Avalanche 320RS and looking forward to taking mine out on her maiden voyage end of April. Long story, but life happens since I purchased last Sep.

Tom,
Not criticism, but rather caution: You say you're buying a "new" tow vehicle, picking it up this week and picking up the new RV April 9th. Are you going to be able to put enough "break in miles" on the new truck before strapping it with the RV? That kind of load is what is supposed to be avoided during the breakin ....

JRTH, yes will have about 1500KM on it before I pick up the trailer. Will be about 30 km from where I pickup trailer to storage lot so not to concerned will be 60 km an hour max driving there.
Cheers Tom
