Angry Baggage door leaked and ruined door

hi there i have 2017 keystone sprinter, we noticed that when we opened the front baggage door there was water all in the door and storage area. It seems to have gotten in and froze over the winter now is ruined, has anyone had this issue with this model? Keystone had nothing to offer and i don't think that a 2 year old camper should have to have a door replaced? I was also told that we need to change the gaskets on the doors every 6 months? that seems unreasonable as well. Any help would be grateful so i can get this issue fixed. I can buy a new door but are they easy to replace?

Welcome to the forum !!

Sorry it has to be under these conditions. First off, whoever told you the seals need to be replaced every 6 months is full of you know what!!
They are easy to replace, and i would be happy to give you the steps to do that.

Very easy. Open the door and look at the inside frame, there will be screws holding it in. Take the screws out, clean the old sealant off. Apply new sealant to new door and then put the screws back in.

The frame is probably aluminum, and the person at the factory just pushes on it when they put the screws in.

Probably the gasket salesman ????? Anybody else would have suggested it's OK to wait at least a year before replacement

Just kidding, everybody knows they'll last at least 2 years
