Eternabond around AC gasket

I have a 2019 Laredo fifth wheel. I just taped all the roof seams but not sure if I should do around the AC units not. Any reason why I should, or should not, try to get some tape up against the AC gaskets?

Thanks.

AC unit is sealed with a foam gasket that is “pulled down” to approx 1/2 of its original thickness. If the AC unit fails your going to play heck getting it off without cutting a big square in the membrane and may cause you to replace the entire roof. I hope you didn’t go around the vents. Same scenario.

^^^^What Chuckster said...hopefully you didn't put eternabond around the AC, if so, I hope you think the AC will last forever.

No tape around the AC. I figured as much, but wanted to check. Thanks.
