I did mount the display.

I was positive I was going to mount mine on the inside of the mouse hole, where there was all sorts of room and an existing splice inside a closed compartment under the bathroom sink. But I drove myself to distraction trying to figure out where I would mount the display in a bathroom where it wouldn't get wet and would still be easily visible, and I finally decided instead to mount the EMS behind the breaker box where I could mount the display right next to it near the floor and not have to worry about it. It was much tighter work, but I think I'm happier with it.

I pulled out the breaker panel and mounted mine behind it.
I cut the power cable and inserted the EMS in the middle.
Mounted the display on the side of the pantry and ran the wire down the inside of the wall. Added another outlet, with USB charging ports while I was in there.

Nice job.
I wish Progressive would put the jack on the back of the display instead of on the underside. That way when it was mounted you would hide the hole where the cable passes through.

Yep, that would be nice.
I cut the connector off the end of the wire, so I could pass it through a smaller hole and then crimped a new connector on the wire.

I cut a hole large enough for the connector, then slid the display down until the hole was practically hidden and screwed it in place.

I did exactly the same thing. Then I wrote to Progressive and suggested they mold their display housing with a channel down the back of the unit so that the cable could inset into it on its way to the bottom jack if you wanted to cover the hole in the wall.

I did the same thing, only left my display on the bottom shelf of that cupboard. Was fairly easy.
