315 Cougar fifth wheel Fantistic Fan

Hi, I have a question,
My 2019, 315 Keystone Cougar fifth wheel. The in command operation of my fantastic fan.
I was trying to open the fan over the kitchen without the fan running. when I open the vent it automatically comes on. is there a way to operate the vent without the fan running.

Good question... I have a 315RLS too.

When you open the vent, it seems to run.

So I go through Low, Medium, High and OFF.

But it does still turn a bit, the wind I guess.

its not the wind, it must just be on low mine ran for more than a hour and mine is covered with a max air cover.

Only by using iN-Command.

Either the Display Commander or your Phone/Tablet using the app.

HVAC, Rear AC

Vent ON or OFF
Speed LOW MED HIGH OFF

I used incommand to turn on vent and cover will open but fan does not operate in any speed. I can hear a beep when turning on fan but no operation. Any trouble shooting suggestions.

I picked up our 2019 Cougar 338RLK. I noticed in the walk through before we took ownership that when opened the fan will not shut off. The Tech was stumped and said they would research it and get back to me.

Perhaps there is no way to shut the fan off when the lid is open? (even though there is clearly a button to shut it off)

Now I am thinking this must be normal function?

I think you're correct. With the cover open, you cannot stop it, stupid design if you ask me.

What brand and model? Max air has that option standard, fantastic fan may not.

It's a Fan-tastic fan, not sure of the model number.

But I think it's an issue with iN-Command, it simply does not send the correct command to stop the fan. Not sure. But it looks that way.

Gotcha. We don’t sell or service any units with in command so I can’t really say. I will say it should have been figured out/dealt with before your walkthrough.
