Water intrusion from fridge vent

Greetings all,. 2017 Cougar x-lite 5vr. Winter over in Pensacola FL. We had a big, 2 day hard wind blowing rain couple weeks ago. Noticed water around baseboard fridge cabinet . Opened interior vent cover and underneath fridge was soaked. Went outside, removed exterior vent cover. Interior was soaked. Dried out flooring using small fan blowing from interior of camper. Two weeks passed without any rain. Rained again last night, early morning today. Removed exterior vent cover, and flooring area again soaked. No idea how long this has been going on?? Anyone else had this happen to them? Awaiting to hear from insurance folks........ Appreciate any feedback, remedies taken to resolve this matter. Thanks

I can only give general suggestions, as I'm not familiar with your particular trailer. Last year I had a similar problem with my Keystone Bullet.... only in a driving rain, and only with the awning rolled up. On mine I found that the factory sealant around the inside of the fridge vent bezel was leaking. The sealant simply never adhered to the plastic bezel. I removed as much of the sealant as I could, then scuffed the plastic bezel with a scotchbrite pad, cleaned with a solvent, and re-applied sealant.
Unfortunately, I still had some water coming in in a driving rain. Found the outside 120v outlet was also leaking. Removed and resealed. Still..... I would get water in the bottom of my cabinet. Had my wife run the garden hose while I watched inside with all doors open and access panels removed. Turned out the worst culprit was the water heater flange seal. Sealed it with proflex, and no more leaks.
In my case it was three smaller separate leaks. The key in my case was to have a second person putting water on the side of the camper while I watched on the inside. Hose one possible source, observe. Spray the next potential leak, observe... and so on.

Solution to leaking vent frame

I have the same or similar problem. Water gets in when the trailer isn't level via the lower edge of the vent frame. This isn't happening while driving, it is parked and raining. Water goes behind the frame, into the wall and onto the floor.

Solution is to dam the bottom edge of the vent frame with a piece of angle aluminum. See attached.

No damage to the roof vent or the seal around it. Happy to report my aluminum dam has stopped water from entering my trailer.

Actual photos of my repair. After the second photo I failed to take a photo of the silicon I put between the aluminum and the black frame in the 3rd. Both left and right edges are completely sealed and silicon on top of the horizontal alumunum part acts as a glue to hold it all together. I did put the 4 screws that go into the bottom edge of the frame and instead only used screws along the tops and sides.
