19 Cougar 32RLI

Ok, I purchased this trailer new from the dealer two weeks ago. It comes standard with one a/c unit. Is prewired and in command is preprogrammed for optional second front unit. I’ve been through this twice with the dealer and I feel like I’m getting the runaround. I want to add the second unit, the cannot seem to give me the model number I need or they don’t want to give it to me because I’m not ordering it from them or having them install. I’m a DIY kind of guy and have help to do it plus it will save me a bit of cash. Can anyone help me with getting the info I need to purchase and do the install myself? Any help will be much appreciated.

I'm sure they won't give you a model number. The vent opening is a standard opening and there are literally dozens of ACs that will fit there. I would suggest determining what brand you have, look up the options available, size you want (btu) and pick one. If not familiar with the installation all kinds of tools are available to determine that.

The unit currently in it is a 15,000 BTU Dometic Duo Therm. I’m looking for a 13,500 BTU Dometic unit. It’s plug and play ready, I guess I just need to find what unit will plug and play.

I would assume a 13.5k Domectic model would work just fine; as Sourdogh stated, the opening is a standard size. Just find one of those and you should be good.
