Tree branch scraped rubber roof

I had a tree branch scrape my rubber roof. It did not tear roofing material but scraped it real good. Should I treat the scrape with something like Spray-n-Seal Instant Rubber Roof repair, or some other produce, or just leave it alone?

Jeff -
If any of the membrane has been scraped off, I would probably spray it with the product you mentioned in your post. While it may not have torn into or cut through the thin membrane, it may have been damaged enough to comprimise the integrity of it. To err on the side of caution in this case might be the best course of action.

Tree scrape

Think I would dress it with a coating of sealent or a patch better to be safe water gets in its to late also easer to fix a fresh scrape than after dirt has time to get in place.Bushman good luck

That would work or you could place a layer of Eternabond tape over the scrape.

No matter what repair you select, be sure to clean and dry the membrane well before applying any coating or tape.

Thanks all -

I cleaned, dried and sprayed with Spray-n-Seal Instant Rubber Roof repair which I purchased from Camping World. The product appeared to work quite well. According to mfg. specifications it is designed for RV Rubber roofs such as EPDM, TPO, or PVC.
