Soft spots in floor

Good Afternoon, I have been researching how to repair RV floors after water damage as I had a leak last winter that went unnoticed for a while and now I have a couple soft spots in the floor on the curb-side of the trailer. I've got the leak fixed and the trailer is now water tight but I'm trying to find information on the floor construction of an Fuzion Impact 260. The spungy spots are against the wall and go about 1 foot or less out into the room from the wall. And there are several of them from the front room to the entry door on the curb-side of the RV. Does anyone have any specific information on the construction of the floor? My plan was to "cut out" some of the floor to the nearest support and then patch/replace plywood and then new vinyl. And I should be good as new. But honestly I'm pretty new at this and any advice from someone who maybe has an Impact that's had this issue or someone with technical knowledge of how the floor is built would be awesome!!

Thanks All!
Andrew

That's how I fixed a rotten spot in a floor years ago. Be careful about tanks etc under floor when cutting.
