Maybe check your fuse panel, and pull the fuse for it? Just a thought...

LED door lights

Pedalsteelpicker -

Those LED rope lights on the outside base of the door are your "Welcome Home" lights. The inside LED rope at the door base are Exit lights. They are part of the Alpine "Security Package" that includes the keyless entry. They are "hard wired", that is there is no switch.

On our Alpine, the 12 volt fuse, second from the bottom controls this circuit. If you remove this fuse, the rope LEDs will be off, but your keyless entry will also be off. The only time I have pulled this fuse is when we stored our Alpine for a while without power and I didn't pull the batteries.

Thanks Geo,not a big deal they will just be on if I open the door and use the screen on a warm day unless I pull the fuse or I could put a switch in myself

Pedalsteelpicker,
On our 3555RL there is a switch just above floor level just inside the door. It's easiest to see & operate standing outside the door & leaning in. Hope this helps.
