O.K., I've found the right place!

This looks like a great forum for Keystone owners. I'll introduce us and our wares.....

Flybouy handle - this was the name on our boat (got out of that hobby 10 years ago). Play on words after I earned my pilots liscence 20 some years ago so the "Flybouy" was a compilation of my 2 passions, flying and boating. We live near the Chesapeake Bay.

DW & I married for 32 years, happily for 10 (just kidding!) 2 daughters married and 1 grandson - 3 yrs old and one due in Feb of 2012. We have been camping for 10 years, Coleman pop up, vthen Keystone Cabana, then 29' Forest River Surveyor, now back to Keystone with the Laredo 303 TG.

TV - 2009 Ford F150 King Ranch with all the bells and whistles in Tuxedo Black, 5.4 V8 with cold air induction3.55 locker rear, Firestone Air bags, Tuxedo rollup tannue cover and bed rug. Lots of chrome trim added. Reese Dual Cam Straight Line hitch.

Trailer - 2012 Keystone Laredo 303 Tg with hazelnut decor and optional 15K AC unit. I paid the dealer to install slide out toppers on both slide outs and vent caps before taking delivery. MODS to date - I replaced the BBQ with a SS Olympian, added a 2' extension hose on to the outside stovetop gas line and replaced the dollhouse sized vent fan in the bathroom with a full size fan, outside water filter and 30 amp voltage regulator. Also installed the antenna add on piece for better reception and added a rear view camera system.

Future mods planned - Replace pull out chord with shore power electric cord, install voltage regulator in power cable cubby hole, convert the lighting over to LED and replace the cheap vspeakers in the ceiling.

Issues to date - Warrenty work so far - microwave failed and was replaced, one light switch failed and was repaired with no argument or issue from dealer (Chesaco RV in Joppa, MD). I have an appointment to return the unit for warrenty work mid November because the toilet supply water leaks when the toilet is flushed and the TV in the living room has bad reception (I suspect just a loose cable end) and for the doors to be adjusted as they are difficult to close (simple adjustment of the striker plate).

I'm not usually this long winded but I thought I would get the info out of the way and now you eveything minus my social security number and latest tax return. The DW and I look forward to participating in the forum and perhaps sharing some of our limited knowledge and vast experiences.

We liked the Laredo 5th wheels also but they were to tall to fit in our shed. I really liked the decor and style. Jay and Lori
