If you are looking for comments and/or posts about the 327RES, you might want to do a forum search (type in "327RES" in the white search box) and you will find numerous posts. While not all of these posts will reflect member's opinions about this model, there are quite a few that make comments about various aspects of the 327RES.
Welcome to the forum and I hope you find some worthwhile information while browsing the posts.

We love ours, have had no major problems, just minor fix it myself kinda things. So far this year we have stayed in it about 30 nights, with very high heat as of late, and in sub freezing temps. in feb. We fell in love with the layout, very ample storage, both in and out. But as Festus reported, do a search and get as much info. as you can. Good Luck, Happy Camping, Sam

Thumbs up

I had some problems with mine when I first got it. Drove me crazy getting them fixed. I am like handysam. Love the 327res. Still working out some little issues like bulbs burning out over the sink every trip. Common problem I think. Handysam, have you had any roof issues? Had some big bubbles show up while I was in the mountains in Tennessee for a couple of weeks this past month. I took it to CW. They documented it but said common problem, don't think so but will watch it. Been having trouble keeping the brakes adjusted up. Found out if I back up frequently and us the manual control it will self adjust somewhat and help some. Got the shower leaks all stopped, they employed a new tech at CW, he is good. I ask for him when I go there and they have been great about letting him work on my unit.
So if I was looking at the 327res I would buy it. Good luck and happy campin

Lack of HP sorry to hear about your issues. As of now we have had no roof issues but I will keep checking. Bubbling does NOT sound normal!! I hope your dealer can take care of that pronto! Thanks for the heads up!
Sam

Lack of HP:
I wouldn't go so far as to say that bubbling on a rubber roof is "common" but it does occur occasionally and can happen on all models - not just the 327RES. A few "small" bubbles is not a major cause of concern but they should be inspected from time to time to ensure that they are not spreading or enlarging.
They are often caused by poor or lack of adhesion between the rubber and the roof "wood" surface and with a prolonged period of high temperatures the air within the bubble expands - causing the bubble to enlarge.
The bubbles don't seem to go away so keep your eye on them and use extra care when walking on or cleaning your roof so as not to puncture them.

I have some on my roof also, I talked with the dealer and they told me if they got any bigger to let them know. So another thing to add to the list to worry about!

Just traded in the 318SAB for 327RES

Well we jus did it. We traded in the 318SAB for a 327RES. We had to order it and to get one in good time we agreed to one just built and available for a dealer to get. It has a fireplace but...we're not sure where the stereo will be if the TV is on top of the fireplace. couldn't find any pictures on the web.

Congrats you will love it

Congrats on you purchase of your 327res. I know you will love it. To all that replied on the roof bubbling problem on mine I got the same response back from Keystone. I am watching it and a friend of mine also purchased one and he is having some appear as well.
Are you all still burning out the light bulbs on the two lights above the sink? I have ask Keystone and my dealer CW about this and they had no answer but did take my concern. I have burned out 11 bulbs. About two every trip.

Still love the Cougar. Happy Kampin to all. Lack of HP

I repeat whats stated above. No roof bubbles as of today. The bulbs blew out first trip replaced them and they have been in for 10 months now. My biggest complaint is the 12 ft awning. otherwise it's been great. we are planning 6 more day over the holiday. 2 more later in the month. so we are on track to use it 40plus nights this year. That's more than any other year since we started out in the popup 12 years ago.

Pendant light bulbs

Lack of HP

I had the same problem with the pendant lite bulbs on my 326. I forget what the bulbs number was I think #1072. The specs. on that bulb were a 200hr life. I replaced mine with #1142. We are fulltimers and these lites have been burning every day for the last 8 months. The originals lasted 2 weeks and were replaced with the #1142 2 weeks later after the seconnd set of #1072 burned out. Wattage is a little bit less on the #1142.
