Plugged In

Does it hurt to leave a camper plugged in to 120 all the time to keep the battery from going dead?

As long as the charging system is working properly and you check the electrolyte levels regularly there is no problem leaving it plugged in to shore power. I have been doing it for many years. JM2¢, Hank

Mine is plugged in from April to November every year without issue. If you think about it, anyone who is seasonal is plugged in all year.

Likewise without issue.

If you have a good battery it will not discharge much if you have a disconnect switch that isolates the battery entirely.
Ours has gone at least a couple months, and is still charged well enough to run the slides out and in several times.

After being plugged in for 5 years with minor amounts of time for travel
from one full-time location to another, I find zero ill effects. I've been at
the same location for 3 years now and have only been up-plugged for
about an hour when I had to shift sites.
I do check the water level on a regular basis and top off when necessary.
